As I walked into this home, my client and I both agreed that if anyone asked, we’d say a tornado was the reason for this disaster.
We laughed and chuckled but knew there was a lot of work to be done.
Client Profile:
Brand My Space had a promotion whereby individuals could submit
their story stating why they need support to transform their living experience. The winner would receive
complimentary staging services using existing furniture and accessories.
This young, unemployed bachelor requested that I assist him to de-clutter his home.
He was unemployed at the time and his family moved back to their home in the Eastern part of the world. Alone,
with no thought as to how he can make this a clutter-free environment that is spacious for his guests.
My client wanted to create a warm atmosphere that is welcoming so, he asked Brand My Space to help him change
his living experience.
My Challenges:
As we discussed the condition of the home, it was very difficult because
there was no budgetary plan to enhance the features and focal points.
Door required fixtures Fireplace needed an upgrade Carpeting was to be replaced Fresh paint job was needed Unable to purchase new furniture
Unfortunately, due to his living conditions he was not able to fix these items even
after receiving the complimentary staging services.
However, he did mention the importance of sprucing up your home.
Branding In-The-Works:
My client had paperwork from the 1990’s possibly 80’s.
We stumbled over many memories and in order to make this a clutter-free space,
there were many items that needed to be removed completely or packed away.
We re-arranged the furniture, used some hidden accessories, and brightened up the room.
He was so surprised with the change.
